This policy describes how Eraktive di Yuri Gagliardi processes the personal data of users of the WedSnap app and the wedsnap.eu website, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian law.

Data provided by the user

• Nickname chosen to take part in an event;
• Names of the couple / of the event (entered by whoever creates the event);
• Photos and videos uploaded to the shared album;
• Email address (only when you request the link to download the event archive).

Data collected automatically

• Device model, operating system type and version;
• App version and build;
• Device identifier and token for push notifications;
• Technical access statistics (e.g. IP address) for the security and operation of the service.

The payment data for in-app purchases is handled exclusively by the Apple App Store and Google Play: WedSnap does not collect or store your card or account details.

3.Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service (event creation, uploading and viewing the album) — performance of the contract;
• Sending push notifications relating to the event — consent, which can be withdrawn from the device settings;
• Security, abuse prevention and aggregate statistics — the Controller's legitimate interest;
• Legal obligations (tax and administrative obligations linked to purchases) — legal obligation.

4.Data retention

The availability of media content depends on the package purchased for the event, starting from the date of purchase:

Even after the event has closed, guests can continue to access the album to view, download and share the content: it is no longer possible to upload new content. When the period provided by the package expires, the event content is deleted from our systems. Other data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes indicated above and for legal obligations.

5.Where data is stored

Data and content are hosted on physical servers located in Italy, at the Eraktive office (Opera, MI). We do not transfer your content outside the European Union, except as indicated in point 6 for the push notification service.

6.Third-party services

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — used exclusively to send push notifications. It may involve processing the device token in accordance with Google's terms;
• Apple App Store and Google Play — handle in-app purchases and the related payment data;
• Emails (e.g. the link to download the archive) are sent directly from our servers;
• For usage statistics we do not use third-party analytics services: any measurements are carried out internally in aggregate form.

7.The wedsnap.eu website

The website does not use profiling cookies or third-party tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel). To understand how many people visit the site and from which geographic areas, we may collect visit statistics in aggregate and anonymous form, managed internally.

8.Your rights

As a data subject you may exercise at any time the rights provided by artt. 15-22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing. You may also withdraw any consent given. To exercise your rights, write to yuri@eraktive.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (garanteprivacy.it).

9.Minors

WedSnap is intended for users aged 13 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe this has happened, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy over time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the latest update.
