🤔 Do guests have to create an account?+
No, guests don't have to create any account. They download the free WedSnap app, scan the QR code they find on the table and get in straight away just by choosing a nickname: no email, no password, no signup. Within a few seconds they're inside the shared album and can start uploading photos and videos. It's designed on purpose so that even the least tech-savvy guests can join without any friction.
🔒 Where do our photos end up?+
Your photos stay yours, full stop. The servers are physical and located in Italy, we share nothing with third-party services and we show no ads whatsoever. Only people taking part in your event through the QR code can access the album: your photos never end up in advertising databases, nor are they used to train other services. Privacy is exactly the reason WedSnap exists.
📥 How long can we download the album for?+
You can download the album whenever you like. During the event the photos are always viewable in real time; when the wedding is over you close the album with a single tap and receive an email with a link to download every photo and video in high quality, all at once. Even after it's closed, the album stays viewable, downloadable and shareable for the period included in your package.
📱 Does it work on iPhone and Android?+
Yes, WedSnap works on both iPhone and Android. The app is available for free on the Apple App Store and on Google Play, and guests can use either system interchangeably: everyone uploads to the same shared album, with no difference in features. That way no guest is left out, whatever phone they have in their pocket.
🎬 Can videos be uploaded too?+
Of course — as well as photos, you can upload videos too. They're uploaded and automatically optimized in HD, so the moments in motion — the first dance, the cutting of the cake, the speeches — aren't lost. Photos and videos live side by side in the same shared gallery, which all the guests watch grow in real time.
💛 Can we use it for other events too?+
Yes. WedSnap was born for weddings, but it works wonderfully for any party or event where you want to gather everyone's photos in a single place: anniversaries, graduations, birthdays, family parties and private events. It works exactly the same way — you create the event, print the QR codes and let the guests fill the album — so you can reuse it whenever you need it.

You start for free: you can create the event and try WedSnap without spending a thing. If you need more space or a longer window for uploads, you'll find the packages right inside the app and activate them only when and if you need them, through the secure purchases of the App Store and Google Play. No hidden costs and no mandatory subscription.
